Dollhouse

The only thing more fun than working on my dollhouse-skills is working on my dollhouse-skills with friends Lizie and Joey.  We're practically triplets.

Helpful

Sometimes my mom needs me to entertain myself so she can work on very important things.  Like toilet scrubbing.  Because I'm such an agreeable toddler-peep, I'm always all, "Sure mom, just hand me a bath towel, a plastic baggie and a couple Hanks and I'll be fine."

And if mom is feeling lonely in her toilet scrubbing endeavors and wants me to stick close by, I'm totally accommodating.  I'm an expert nursing-pad sorter so I usually take on that task while she does her scrubbing.

When all my playing and sorting is done, I like to crawl into bed (by myself - I can get on mom and dad's bed myself - I am unstoppable now!) and relax.  But I don't invite mom to snorgle me, she's all toilety from the scrubbing.
(No, my mom didn't buy more storage yet but I was able to sneak a few extra pictures in.  Win.)

Twenty-Three

Well Peeps, it's time for another update.  I'm twenty-three!  One more month and it's time for cake and presents and blueberries and cake!

So let's see.  Mostly twenty-three is like twenty-two.  I'm still a very happy toddler-peep.  I love playing toys and going on adventures.  I like doing puzzles, playing dollhouse, reading books, and doing computer skills.  I LOVE playing games on the computer, especially Mickey games.  And when it's nice outside, the playground is so fun, especially because now I'm an expert climber-peep.  I can even go down the big slides alone!  I still go to school and library school and gym class, all awesome.  But my very favorite thing in the whole world is watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.  I would watch all day if mom and dad let me.  But they don't.  Lame.

Mom and dad weren't sure it was possible, but I'm even more chatty than I was last month.  My sentences are often over ten words long and I say some pretty ridiculous things.  I can't help it, I remember pretty much everything I hear.  Even the naughty words.  My alphabet skills are still pretty great and I can "read" my name if I see it on something.  I can count to 13 if you're a regular person and 16 if you speak toddler-peep.  I know shapes and colors and the days of the week.  I have my own way of telling time that works pretty well.  It's based on a particular unit of measurement "second minutes" and a few other key things, such as most things happening at "8 o'clock" and "next week."  I can sing some songs too, like ABCs, Twinkle Twinkle, Itsy Spider, Ring Around the Rosy and a few songs I've composed myself.

I'm growing too!  I wear size 5 diapers all the time and size 24 month/2T clothes fit me pretty well!  Plus, I just got my feet measured and I'm already in a size 5 shoes.  Giant.  I still only have 11 teeth but I'm pretty sure #12 is going to pop any second.  My fluff is super long and curly except in the morning, when it's super long and mullety.  I've probably grown so much because I'm a (medium) excellent eater.  I discovered hot dogs (amazing) but still like the usuals (carbs) too.

I've been a pretty great sleeper lately.  At night I snooze from about 8 pm until 7 or 7:15 am.  And since I'm such a nice toddler-peep, I decided to start taking good naps again.  So I snorgle in with my guys (Hanky, Hanky-blanket, Elmo, pink-blanket and b-guck) and I sleep for 2-3 hours in the afternoon.

Well Peeps, I think that's about all for now.  Except, I have some bad news.  It seems I've shared so many pictures of my awesomeness that my blog is out of space.  Lame.  But don't worry, my mom is going to figure it out for me.  I don't want to let my four fans down!

Panda

I got word that an awesome band was going to be doing a concert near my house and I was all, "Mom, grab your lighter and your ear plugs, we're going to hear some rock and roll!"

It turned out to be a little less hardcore than I had planned.  That's fine, I can work on my head-banging-skills another day.  It was still totally awesome and we had great seats.

But do you know what's even better than good seats at a concert?  The mosh pit!  I sat for a little while but finally I couldn't help myself - I had to get to the front and dance with everyone else.  Concerts are not for sitting, you know.

Even though I wasn't familiar with this band's music, they still played some songs I know, like the hippo on the bus song!  Awesome!

I have to admit though, my favorite part was Panda-guy.  He was amazing.  I got to shake his hand and hug him and I may or may not be served with a restraining order because of my stalking-skills.  I couldn't help it.  I loved him.  I'm a little embarrassed to admit there were even tears when he left.  Just the same I had a great time and I hope I can catch another concert so I can stalk Panda, I mean, dance and sing.

Berries

Today after my rest I was all, "I need berries, mom!  Strawberries and blueblaries and blackberries and raspberries outside at table, please mom!"  and mom was all, "That's a great idea, Juj!"

I eat a lot of berries.  They're pretty much my favorite.  I've been telling mom and dad I want cake and blueberries for my birthday.  I'm hoping they don't fail me.

The only trouble with berries is that they make my hands dirty.  And I hate dirty hands.  In fact, lately I've felt so messy after eating berries I've been making mom wash my hands and face and eyes.  I swear I feel better after the eye cleaning.

Luckily berries are good enough that I can usually finish a bowl without a mid-munching hand wash.  Usually.  If you're wondering, I'm told I get my special kind of crazy from both mom AND dad.  Awesome.

I'm a pretty happy berry-munching toddler-peep these days.

Hopper

Last summer my friend Bella and I were just little chubby toddler-peeps riding a grasshopper.

Now it's spring and we're less chubby, more grown-up-toddler-peeps, and we still like to ride grasshoppers.  But we're less inclined to smile on command.

All Guys

I love when I have all my guys with me on the couch.  I don't love it when baby-guy falls off the couch.  Then I'm all, "Get up here baby you driving me crazy."  And then mom is all, "O.M.G. Apparently I need to watch what I say around her."  And then dad is all, "Obvious."
True Story.

Spoon

Do you know what I love eating?  Yo-guck!  It's so delicious.

Lately mom and dad have been all, "You know Juj, two year old toddler-peeps usually have excellent spoon-skills.  Do you think maybe you want to learn how to scoop your own food?"  and I am always all, "I could totally feed myself but I don't want you guys to feel unneeded."  I'm just looking out for mom and dad.

Yesterday everyone was feeling especially concerned about spoon-skills so I told Sissy Dog to watch me (I needed a witness) and I showed mom and dad I'm an awesome spooner.

I know how to take giant scoops...

... and get a majority of the yo-guck in my mouth.

See?  I'm basically a professional.

Clash

Don't worry, Peeps, I figured if the Fashion Police came after me I'd just ride away on this horse.

Ringlets

Apparently this is why mom will never cut off my mullet.

Playground

Today it was a billion degrees outside in March!  Amazing!  I decided a sunny warm day had to be celebrated so I brought mom to the playground.  I spent a lot of time working on my balancing skills.  I'm nearly an expert.

I also spent some time exploring the waterfall but I didn't get too close.

Sliding was mega fun too.  I'm big enough to slide alone now.  I like to slide on my belly for better speed control, but I could totally slide sitting up if I wanted to.

After lots of playing my friend Ava (yep, she was at the park with me, but being busy toddler-peeps, we had a hard time playing anywhere near each other) was all, "Here Juj, try a raisin!"

And I was all, "OMG Ava!  I love raisins!  I can't believe I've never munched them!"

I had a great time at the park with Ava, even if our only time catching up involved inhaling food with our filthy fingers!

Puppy

Uncle Chad got me an awesome new puppy.  I'm also pretty sure mom is less impressed with it than me.  She just doesn't appreciate cool stuff.

Peek

I love to find cozy spots to hide.  Usually mom can't even spy me.

Lucky for her I sometimes chatter just a tiny bit so she can usually find me!

Herman

I have a new neighbor.  His name is Herman.  Sissy says as long as he minds his business about her sticks and tennis balls, we won't have a problem.

Climber

I may not be the most adventurous toddler-peep.  And my height certainly doesn't help the cause.  But I could totally be a climber-peep if I wanted to be.

Fishy Mask

Since it's been an entire week since I visited the lung doctor, I decided it was time to test mom and see if she was paying attention during Nebulizer 101 class.

Don't worry, Peeps.  I'm not mega sick.  I just have an itty bitty little cough.  It's not even croupy or barky or wheezy.  Yet.  But since I like to go big with my coughs, mom and dad (and my lung doctor) decided I should start some medicine now to try and avoid the ER.  Mom was all, "We have to avoid the ER at least until we get the bill from the visit two weeks ago."  Seems fair.

So for now I'm having my home breathing treatments and I'm a total champ about them.  I don't fuss at all.  It helps that when my fishy mask comes out, Mickey appears on the TV.  I'd probably wear the fishy mask all day if it meant Mickey all day.
