Yesterday I went to a pretty awesome park party. I'll be honest, when I arrived I was a little unimpressed. Much to my dismay, the park was covered in sand. Disgusting. However, in the interest of swinging skills I made a brief exception to my no-contact-with-sand-ever rule.
I spent most of the time working on my home construction skills. I did a lot of water-painting skills, cone-piling skills, and refusing-to-eat-the-chocolate-pudding skills.
I had a great time in spite of the presence of sand AND I even got to take my worker belt home!
Today I met a snakey-guy. He was pretty nice. Dad is scared of snakes but not me - I'm a very brave toddler-peep. I even wanted the snake to "lick" me but apparently they only let toddler-peeps pet the tail. Lame.
A couple days ago I FINALLY got to go to the pool! In the spring I was all, "Mom, wouldn't it be awesome if we could swim everyday?" and mom was all, "That's a great idea, let's join the pool!" Awesome. The pool is so fun - there are fountains and slides and sprayers and other people's toys!
And of course, there are snacks. Since I can't quite read, mom didn't make me follow the rule about no snacks by the pool. I plan on being illiterate about snacks for a long time.
I had the best time at the pool! I can't wait to go back every day!
I'm pretty into geology. I love to find rocks, collect rocks, examine rocks, and bring rocks home from the park.
I like digging through rocks to find square-ish rocks and triangle-ish rocks. I also like sparking rocks and giant rocks.
But don't be confused - I HATE sand. Mom is all, "Juj, sand is just bitty tiny rocks," but I'm all, "Sand is yucky and dirty and gets in my shoes and I'm basically paralyzed when I try to walk in it."
As long as the rocks aren't disguised as sand, I would play with them all day long.
Sometimes I like to help Elmo get ready for resting time. I share my b-guck, cover him with all my cozy blankets, and read him a story. I'm pretty much the best Elmo-sitter ever.
My friend Nancy took some pictures of me today. It was especially awesome because the pictures were to celebrate when I turned two. I had almost forgotten, but not anymore! I'm back to singing "Happy Birthday" to myself all day long!
I had a pretty great time getting my picture taken. I found some flowers and mom was so busy admiring my cuteness she forgot to notice I was picking them!
And I got to be fancy and try on lots of clothes.
There was tons of exploring to do too. I got to climb steps, go over bridges, find rocks, chase birds and wave to people. And pretty much everything I did was "sooooo cute." Win.
