Day Forty-One

Day Forty-One and a bonus day at school!  More Opposites Week for me!  Mom wasn't feeling well so she was all, "Hey Peep, do you want to go to school?" and I was all, "I know you're trying to get rid of me even after I so sweetly sang 'Yellow Submarine' to your infected boobie, but sure, I'll go to school."

I was a little late for school but I still made it in time for gym, which I love.  And I got to study my color opposites (black and white) at art time and stay for lunch too.

I had a super fun bonus day - enough fun that I didn't even hold a grudge about mom shipping me off.

Herbie Hippo

Hi Peeps!  I bet you're pretty tired of hearing "Hanky-guy this" and "Hanky-guy that."  I know I am.  There are other guys out there besides Hanky!

So, I'd like to introduce you to my guy - Herbie Hippo! I love to snorgle him and I sleep nicely when he's on my face.  Of course, mom is all, "Stu, it's not safe to smother yourself with a hippo."  Lame.

Herbie is a really good guy.  He's practically my best friend. Maybe someday I'll have a four foot tall hippo in my room.

Day Forty

Day Forty was the end of Opposites Week.  I wasn't sure which opposites we'd study but I had some good ideas, like excellent sleeper (me!) and nighttime shenanigans (Elise), or potty-trained toddler-peep (me!) and poop-up-the-back-while-peeing-on-herself (Elise).  I'm not sure my teachers appreciated these ideas.

As it turns out, the theme was big and little.  I'm a big-little-identifier-expert, so that worked out well.  

But even better than opposites, we got to play parachute in the gym!  It was mega fun.

Day Thirty-Nine

Day Thirty-Nine was the start of Opposites Week!  Good thing I have a book about opposites that I read in the tub.  I always like to be prepared for school.

Our opposites for the day were hard and soft.  Those are pretty good opposites but I also like big (me!) and little (Elise), and curly (me) and straight (Elise).  Maybe Thursday will be Curly-Straight Day.

Art time is also fun but I've been really loving music and dancing time in school lately.  Singing is one of my favorite things to do, besides reading books and playing hide and seek and eating Reese's Pieces.  Mmmmm Reese's Pieces.

Day Thirty-Eight

Day Thirty-Eight was the end of Shape Week.  I loved this theme - I'm an expert shape-spotter and it was fun to put my skills to work.  We even went on a shape hunt in school!

For art project we made spinning paint stars.  Amazing.  Perhaps I can convince mom and dad that our dusty lettuce spinner would best be used to make paint projects.  It's not like they ever spin lettuce anyway.

Who doesn't want to fling paint everywhere?

Day Thirty-Seven

Day Thirty-Seven and the start of Shape Week.
(And yes, I know I'm behind on my days postings.  It's a chronic problem.)

I like to be festive for me themed weeks so I picked my heart shirt.  Hearts are shapes you know.

At school we made rectangle robot pictures for art time.  It was so much fun I wanted to make more shape pictures when I got home.

So mom cut me some hearts and I did some expert glue stick skills to make more shape collages.  It was so much fun.  I'm glad school gives mom good ideas for art projects!
