Explorer

It's important to grab life by the horns.

That's why I spend my days chasing down the next great adventure.

I try out new things and embark on daring conquests.

There's never a dull moment.

Well. Almost never.
But don't worry. You can't cage a free spirit.

Saturday

It was a busy Saturday.

First, we made pancakes. Juj mixed the important stuff (they don't trust my measuring skills - lame), Max tried to climb the stools, and I supervised the process.

After breakfast I did some reading.

Juj worked on her ostrich art skills.

Later I practiced with a scissor. So far I only cut paper. I'm just prepping for my first self-imposed haircut.

We finished the morning with a trip to the jungle park. Don't worry. Herb did not eat Juj.

BBQ

Four generations all together!

We had a BBQ dinner with great grandma. Burgers, corn, cookies and fruit. Max threw at least half his food on the floor.

I was a nice and respectable peep.

Lu was a little ridiculous. She thought the old man playing guitar was the Okee Dokee Brothers. Even with Lu-nanigans it was a fun night!

Snooze

Some days I monkey around at resting time.

But if mom has somewhere to be you better believe I'll nap like a champ.

Art

We really love to practice art skills.

I like to use markers, glue, stickers and scissors when mom isn't looking. Which happens often.

Juj loves drawing and making fancy art projects.

I really love paint but my painting dreams are often stifled. Lame.

Lately we've been having trouble realizing all of our Picasso-like potential at one small art table.

So mom surprised us with a spacious new (used) art table complete with benches that Max can scale when he's not being properly supervised. Win for everyone!

Story

Let me tell you a tragic story, Peeps. Once upon a time I was a nice baby that enjoyed crawling around, reading books and trying to grab poop when mom changed me.

Then one day mom saw an ad for a torture chamber. Even though it wasn't supposed to be available for sale yet mom managed to get one.

And now I can't play with poop anymore. The end.
I know. It's a sad tale. I tried to warn you.

Pink

Peeps, did you know they make sippy cups that aren't pink!?

I had no idea. I bet next you'll tell me that they make sleep sacks and tricycles that aren't pink too. But I'll never believe that.
