Playing

Today my friend Teaghan called me and was all, "Juj!  I haven't seen you since we were babies!  You have to come over and play toys with me!"

I was all, "I'd love to come over - I'll bring beverages!"  Mom told me water would be a better idea.  Lame.

It was so fun to see Teaghan again!  We've known each other a long time!

You might remember her from such things as being tiny...

...and being bitty.

Now we're practically the same size.

I think I'm totally taller but mom was all, "Umm Juj, you're wearing shoes, that's sort of cheating."  Lame.

I bet my tongue is longer!

Anyway, it was super fun to play with Teaghan and her big brother Joe.  Sometimes they played games I didn't really care for, like tackle, body slam, and tug-o-fluff.  But mostly we had a great time.

They had a ton of awesome books so I got to catch up on my summer reading.

The snowman book was super intriguing - I was so into it I didn't even notice Teaghan trying to play moose ears.

We even did some reading together.  The fishy book was amazing.

I had so much fun playing with Teaghan!  I just hope that next time I see her she knows how to scamper so she doesn't try to climb me anymore.

Cute

Sticky Fingers

Sometimes I get kind of silly when I eat.

It's not my fault.  I just sit in my chair, minding my business, shoveling in my food.

I eat my berries and cheese and sandwich and veggies.

And then out of no where, it happens!

First I hear the jingly necklace and then I hear the pitter patter of labbie feet.

And then Sister Lab appears!  I try to keep eating but she makes me giggle.  I can't help it.  I love her and she loves peanut butter flavored peep-fingers.

Softball

My Auntie Stacy and friend Mike called and were all, "Hey Juj, do you want to go to a softball tournament with us?"  And I was all, "Sure!"

I was a little confused when I got there because Stacy said we were rooting for the Unicorns and everyone was cheering for the "girls" but most of the people playing were men.

Auntie Stacy took me for a little walk, explained a few things and cleared everything up.  When I got back to the bleachers I was all, "Heeeeyyyyy" and I made eleventy friends.

It was a pretty exciting game.  I had to cheer a lot!

(Mom was too busy gushing about my curls to cheer.  Lame.)

Hank came with - he's a big softball fan.

I had so much fun cheering for the Unicorns and they won!  I'm pretty sure it's because I did such a great job of saying hi to all their players.

I hope Auntie Stacy and Mike invite me to more softball games!  But next time they should totally pick a place with a playground.

Being a super fan was exhausting.  Hank was so tired he fell asleep in the car too.

Miss

I hate when dad packs up for a trip.  I miss him so much when he's away.

Walks

Now that the weather is slightly chilly instead of unreasonably freezing, I like to take four or eleventy walks a day.  At first I was worried that I wouldn't be able to convince mom and dad to take me out that often.  Then I started saying "car" because I love my little red car.  All I have to do is say, "car car car!" and they think I'm so cute and they do anything I want.

Yesterday's afternoon walk was a little tricky because my babies came over.  But mom figured out how to take all three of us for a walk.  Even Hanky-guy got to come with us!

After dinner I told mom we should go for another walk.  Along the way I found an awesome princess bike I just had to try.  I'm pretty much ready for a two-wheeler.

And then my friend Cate took me for a ride.  She's my best friend on the block and she has a billion awesome toys.  I love after dinner walks to Cate's house!

English Duds

I have friends all over the world.  Two of my best friends are in England.

And the other day I got a package from England!

I had to check the card and make sure it was from Molly and Gwil - sometimes I get mail from Kate and William you know.

It wasn't from the royal palace this time.  But it didn't matter - I got a beautiful dress!  I checked the tag to make sure it would fit me.  And then I tasted the tag to see if they make boobie-flavored tags in England.  They don't.

I didn't even care that the tag wasn't delicious because I was distracted by all the awesome buttons and the bow.  I was so into the dress I couldn't be bothered to look up and smile for the camera.  Thanks for the dress friends!

Thirteen

Hi Peeps!  Guess what - today I'm thirteen months old!!  Mom thought that since my baby book is, well, for babies and doesn't have a spot for thirteen, I should do a little update here so that we can remember when I'm a preschooler-peep.

So let's see.  Now that I'm thirteen I am practically grown up.  My tongue is still busy though.  And it loves to eat!  I love pasta and peanut butter sandwiches and berries and cheese and pasta and yogurt and veggies and pasta and pancakes with syrup!  But don't worry, I still love boobie-flavored boobies the best.

I can walk all over the place but sometimes I do crawling skills, you know, just to mix things up.

I am a very good sleeper-peep.  I take two naps a day, usually each about 1.5 hours long.  At night I sleep about ten or eleven hours, have some milk, and then sleep another hour.

I love playing toys, reading books, going for walks and playing at the park.  I still take swimming lessons too.  I'm practically an expert swimmer.

I'm a very happy toddler-peep.  I love to snorgle mom and dad, give Sister Lab pats and watch The Wiggles and Chica.  I'm learning a lot of stuff too.  I know where my fluff, snout, toes and belly are.  I love to wave at squirrels and ducks and birds and flowers.  And I'm probably the best dancer ever.

I love to chatter!  Here are a few of my chatters.  I also can say puppy, mama, baby and my favorite - car!  I talk about my little red car all day long.  It's my favorite.
And the elephant in the room - I still have no teeth.  Not one.  I'm not even sure what a tooth is so can't see why I would need them!

Boat

Have you ever tried to steal the neighbor's boat?

Yeah, me either.

Edward

Today is my friend Edward's first birthday.  To celebrate he called me up and was all, "Hey Juj, do you want to come over and play with my toys?"  And I was all, "Of course!  Are any of them boobie-flavored?"  I was just checking...

Edward and I have been friends since I was a twenty-three week old baby-fetus.  So we go way back.

You might remember him from such things as being a hot dog that eats himself.

Anyway, we had a super fun time until my mom was all, "Hey, let's take pictures!"  And I was all, "Woman, did you seriously bring the camera here???"  So I told Edward we should play a super fun game I like.  It's called, "Look Anywhere Except at the Camera."  He was super good at it.

But then Edward was all, "Hmmm, I don't know Juj..."

"... it's my birthday, I think I want to be all cute for pictures."  Typical.

Playing with Edward was super fun but after two hours of trying all his toys, eating unidentifiable crumbs off the floor and playing musical sippy cups I was mega exhausted.  Happy Birthday, Edward!
