I've always loved books. Turns out, they're billions more fun when I can read them myself!

I'm not quite ready for chapter books but I'm practicing every day.

Hopefully I'll be able to keep up soon when mom and dad spell-talk to each other. I need to know what they're saying.

Happy Valentine's Day, Peeps!

We hope your day was filled with love and cookies and hearts and cookies and treats and cookies!

Grandma, if you don't come back from Hawaii soon, you won't even recognize me!

Yesterday I turned thirteen! I'm totally a legitimate toddler now!

I'm a pretty nice girl too. Sure I'm busy. Sure mom calls me "Trail of Terror." She just doesn't appreciate my ability to redecorate a bathroom with toilet paper or my Culligan emptying skills. Someday she'll recognize my artistic genius.

I'm getting pretty giant. I wear size 12 months and 12-18 months clothes. I have six teeth (three on top, three on the bottom). The seventh is still bulging but stalled out. It's fine, I don't even need it. My fluff curls when I swim and after bath but this lousy winter flattens my ringlets. I've been using the big girl potty for a month now. I go once or twice a day, almost always first thing in the morning. I even poop in the potty. I know. I'm very advanced.

I can't say I'm particularly inclined to chatter. I mean, I babble, but mom and dad don't seem to understand me. Perhaps they need to brush up on their babble-skills. At least I have tons of signs (eat, water, more, all done, please, thank you, hat, shoes, hi/bye, dog, bink, Herbie, wash hands, slide, and more) and I can nod/shake my head. Sometimes I say "mama" in the right context, but I try not to do so consistently. I'm not going to make it that easy on mom. I also say "ah-dah" when I sign "all done." But every time mom thinks I'm doing so consistently I stop. Haha.

I'm an excellent eater. There's really nothing I don't like. Well, black beans were kind of gross. And I thought I didn't like strawberries but I'm over that. I especially love pasta and breads and berries and yogurt but I'll eat anything. I drink water from my sippy cup. I drink big-girl milk two times a day (before naps) and boobie-flavored boobie in the morning and before bed. That's still my favorite but the tap is running dry. Lame.

I love playing anything Juj is playing. She's my most fun friend. We play playhouse and dress up and books and crash and dollhouse and blocks and gymnastics. We also do art together. I like to color with crayons or paint with stamp paint or play play-doh. As long as I have my bink I don't even remember to try and taste the art supplies. When Juj isn't around I go to Library School (storytime) and swimming lessons. I love both.

Books are probably my favorite. I love to read my books all day long. I especially love books that have stuff to touch and feel. I like flap books too, although sometimes I have a little situation with the flaps. Good thing mom is obsessed with her glue gun. It's like she wants me to rip off the flaps.

I am a very awesome sleeper-peep. Most days I nap twice. If it's a regular day I nap about 10:30 - 12 pm and 2:45 - 4:15 pm. If it's a busy morning day sometimes I just do a mini morning nap and a big afternoon nap. I'm very flexible and accommodating. At night I go to bed around 7:45 pm and wake up between 7 and 7:30 am. I never fuss in bed, even when I wake up. I just growl a while until someone comes in to get me. If I'm lucky, Juj comes in and gets in my crib and jumps with me.

I love my baby doll. She's probably my second favorite after books. I love pushing her in the stroller and bringing her everywhere with me. But don't worry, Herbie is still my best friend.

I think that covers thirteen. I'm very busy. Sometimes my busy gets misdirected (was it really a problem that mom found me playing IN the bathtub??) but mostly I'm nice and funny and smart and goofy.
