Big sisters are awesome.

Big sisters that can read are the awesomest.

We went to the Children's museum today.

It's a magical place where I can paint my face as much as I went and no one tries to stop me.

Max thought 4,000 square feet of shrieking, toddler-filled chaos was a good place for a nap. He's lame.
Thankfully mom woke him so I had my buddy to play with me.

We did a little dress up too. Wanted to be sure to expose ourselves to lice in addition to every other illness we inevitably picked up.

After our museum fun we took a train ride. We would have done more rides but I left my stilettos at home. The train was pretty fun though. And on the way out Santa gave me a cookie! Best day ever!

We love waiting for the bus with Juj.

But we really really love when the bus brings her back to us.

It helps to be adorable.

Makes mom come running a little faster at 2 am.

I love eating.

I'll pretty much eat anything. Except baby food. Baby food is pretty lame.

I have too sophisticated a palate for baby food.

I enjoy fine dining.

Though mom insists on cutting up my food. So embarrassing.

Pancakes are the yummiest. Even my sisters agree.

Pancakes are soooo yummy...

... and hard.

It's important to grab life by the horns.

That's why I spend my days chasing down the next great adventure.

I try out new things and embark on daring conquests.

There's never a dull moment.

Well. Almost never.
But don't worry. You can't cage a free spirit.

It was a busy Saturday.

First, we made pancakes. Juj mixed the important stuff (they don't trust my measuring skills - lame), Max tried to climb the stools, and I supervised the process.

After breakfast I did some reading.

Juj worked on her ostrich art skills.

Later I practiced with a scissor. So far I only cut paper. I'm just prepping for my first self-imposed haircut.

We finished the morning with a trip to the jungle park. Don't worry. Herb did not eat Juj.

Four generations all together!

We had a BBQ dinner with great grandma. Burgers, corn, cookies and fruit. Max threw at least half his food on the floor.

I was a nice and respectable peep.

Lu was a little ridiculous. She thought the old man playing guitar was the Okee Dokee Brothers. Even with Lu-nanigans it was a fun night!

Some days I monkey around at resting time.

But if mom has somewhere to be you better believe I'll nap like a champ.

We really love to practice art skills.

I like to use markers, glue, stickers and scissors when mom isn't looking. Which happens often.

Juj loves drawing and making fancy art projects.

I really love paint but my painting dreams are often stifled. Lame.

Lately we've been having trouble realizing all of our Picasso-like potential at one small art table.

So mom surprised us with a spacious new (used) art table complete with benches that Max can scale when he's not being properly supervised. Win for everyone!

Let me tell you a tragic story, Peeps. Once upon a time I was a nice baby that enjoyed crawling around, reading books and trying to grab poop when mom changed me.

Then one day mom saw an ad for a torture chamber. Even though it wasn't supposed to be available for sale yet mom managed to get one.

And now I can't play with poop anymore. The end.
I know. It's a sad tale. I tried to warn you.

Peeps, did you know they make sippy cups that aren't pink!?

I had no idea. I bet next you'll tell me that they make sleep sacks and tricycles that aren't pink too. But I'll never believe that.

What if, after seven quiet months, I suddenly resurfaced?!

It's not that I haven't wanted to share my deep, brilliant baby-thoughts. It's mostly that mom won't let me play on her phone.

Even when I shriek and thrash when she takes the phone from me, she doesn't give it back. Lame. She doesn't understand I have important work to do.

To get back at her I usually lick her phone charger. So far I've killed two of them that way. I rule.

You shouldn't keep a phone away from a baby. It's bad manners.
