Dancing

I totally LOVE my activity table.  I would stand and play all day long if mom would stop making me do ridiculous things like nap and get new diapers.

It's so fun to push all the buttons and dance to the music!

Sockies

Okay Peeps, for eight months I've been all, "Sure mom, I'll wear whatever you put on my feet."

No one ever told me those socks just come right off!  I feel so free now that I know I can tear them off the second mom puts them on.

Cake-Eater

Today I was all, "Mom, you always dress me like a baby.  I want to wear some cool kid clothes."
And mom was all, "Okay, Juj, let's dress you like a cake-eater."

I think I do preppy pretty well.

Furs

Want to know why my tongue is so excited?

Sister Lab gave me a new toy!

Can you see it?

It's a labbie fur!

You didn't think I could resist tasting it, did you?

Shorty

Being short has its advantages...

...it's pretty easy to learn sitting skills when you don't have far to go.

Babysitting

I had my first babysitting job last week.  I looked after my friend Bella while her nanny was on holiday.

We had a pretty great time together.

We spent some time calling each other on the phone.

I checked to see if I could get the entire phone in my mouth.  I couldn't.  Probably because it wasn't boobie-flavored.

I was excited to see some of my favorite guys at her house - she has great taste in toys.

We spent a lot of time just hanging out and chattering.
Mom teases me a little because Bella is just three days older than me but she makes me look, well, like a circus midget.

Then, in the afternoon, Bella was all, "Hey Juj, I'm going to take a two hour nap now."
And I was all, "That's lame Bella, don't you want to stay up and play?"
She didn't.  So I caught up on my reading.

We had a really fun day together.  I would totally babysit for her anytime...

...especially because her toys make the coolest noises!

Visitors

I had some visitors recently.  People are practically knocking down our door to see me.
My Great-Grandma K. and my Great-Auntie Cookie came to play.

My Great-Grandma said she was so impressed with all my skills and my chatters.
But really...

...I think she just wanted to meet Big Hank.
(Sometimes Sister Lab wants to be in pictures too, you know.)

Christmas!

Peeps!  Santa came to my house!!

When I woke up this morning I scampered down the steps (okay, mom carried me) and I found a billion presents all for me!  I was feeling extra generous so I shared a couple with mom and dad.  What am I going to do with a Gander Mountain gift card anyway?

Santa brought me tons of awesome paper.  I tore it and tasted it and played with it.  Paper is the best present ever!

Since I've been such a great baby, Santa brought me toys too!  As if the paper weren't exciting enough!  I got a ball popper that spins and pops and scares Sister Lab.

I got a musical, talking, table!!  It takes batteries and everything!  Mom doesn't usually like me to have battery operated toys but she made an exception for Christmas.

I got some blocks to learn about shapes.

I got a book about binks!

Sister Lab gave me a puppy picture for my room...

...and Hank gave me a giraffe picture!

My Auntie and Uncle that live in Disneyland sent me Minnie Mouse.  Her nose is delicious.  I tasted it.  And then Sister Lab tasted it.  We really love Minnie even though she isn't boobie or cheese flavored.

I got a Minnie bib and princess bowl and fork and spoon.  They are so much cooler than my regular dishware.

My neighbor got me this fluffy soft coat.  It is toasty-cozy and nice to pet, kind of like Sister Lab.

Presents were so much fun to open.  Later, mom got an idea.  Her ideas usually end badly.  Remember the pumpkin patch?  Well, she decided I should get a picture with Santa.  I thought we were headed to the mall where Santa lives.

Nope.  She stuck me in a snow bank, got herself stuck in thigh deep snow, and got flakes on the camera, all for one lousy shot with Santa.

Good thing I'm such a sweet and tolerant baby.  And good thing she quickly brought me inside to play with all my new toys.  I love Christmas!  I hope Santa comes again tonight!

Christmas Eve

I've been a pretty good girl this year...

...I play with toys and practice skills during the day, I sleep all the way through night...

... and I try to look as adorable as possible at all times.

So I really mega hope that Santa comes tonight and brings me some awesome toys.

This is how excited I will be if Santa comes to my house!

Owl

My Auntie Stacy comes to visit me every couple months.  She's mega fun.  We play toys, sing Lady Gaga songs, and talk about fashion.  She's a billion times more stylish than mom.

She came into town to visit me for Christmas and brought me this awesome owl toy.

It has a baby owl that tastes delicious.  (Though at this point I've given up hope that anything will ever be boobie-flavored.)

I liked tasting the leaf...

...and examining the ring.

But the best part of my new owl?  The box, of course.

Breakfast

I pretty much love eating.

I just wish mom didn't insist on cleaning me up afterward.  That part stinks.

Cheese

I know, I know.
I've been so busy practicing skills I've forgotten to post any pictures.

I'm a pretty excellent roller now.  I like to roll all across the room, though sometimes I get stuck under stuff.  And mom's been letting me eat some pretty delicious things.  This is my first taste of string cheese.  Sister Lab told me it's her favorite.  I loved it too, except it was pretty tricky to pick up so I needed a little help.

Maybe if mom didn't cut it up so tiny I wouldn't have had so much trouble.

Taste

It's important to taste stuff.

You know, just to see if it happens to be boobie-flavored.

Turn

O.M.G.!
Peeps, did you know that you don't have to stay exactly where mom puts you when you're in bed?!

Nighttime just got a billion times more fun!

Scrub

I really love my bath.

No water is more delicious than bath water.

Purple Ring

My friend Kinley came over today.

You might remember her.

We had a lot of fun together.  She thinks I'm mega cool.  I can tell because she was all, "Look at me, Juj, I can stick my tongue out just like you."

She was pretty nice, too.  She let me look at her awesome bink.

Mom kept telling me to be gentle with her.  I did my best.

We had a great time together...

...until she had the nerve to steal my ultra cool favorite toy - purple ring!

I was all, "O.M.G. mom!  She stole my ring!"
And mom was all, "Juj, you have to share."

Obviously sharing wasn't the response I was going for, so I took matters into my own hands.  Literally.

Playdates are mega fun, especially when I'm the strongest baby invited.
