Climb

Holy cow. I'm such a delinquent blogger-peeplet. I mean, no excuses. I should really spend more time on the computer but every time I get near it mom is all, "Lu! We don't play with cords! Don't lick my computer! I love stifling your dreams!" Lame.

So instead I've been working on my stool skills.

Obviously stools are for so much more than stepping.

Don't worry, peeps. I'm pretty strong and tough. And my climbing-skills are awesome, as are my falling-over-stuff-as-I-try-to-climb-it-skills.

Hats

I love taking walks. Sometimes I ride my bike. Occasionally I ride in a stroller. But mostly I walk. It's important to get exercise you know.

Lu likes to ride in her car. She can't walk yet. But almost.

I like to be the Lu-pusher-peep. And I almost never give her whiplash.

Lately I've been pretty into picture-taking-breaks during our walks. Sometimes I even smile for the pictures.

And sometimes I forget how to smile.

And sometimes Lulu decides hats are lame.

And sometimes the lame hats get tossed quickly so that mom doesn't notice until we're half a block away.

Cord

In case you're wondering, I get no privacy around here. Even when I'm minding my business in my bed, mom is still spying on me. Lame.

So today I decided to test her peeplet-spying skills. Incidentally, my experiment happened to coincide with spotting my favorite toy ever, cords!

All this time an awesome cord was just waiting for me to practice cord-skills!

I was pretty excited - playing cord-skills is nearly as fun as playing crawl-under-the-table-and-screech-skills.

But don't worry.

It's totally all Big Brother up in this joint.

Mom ruined my cord fun before I even had time to test my new teeth (!).

Helpful

I think it's important to be a contributing member of the family.

Thats why I help mom with the laundry. I'm particularly good at tipping-the-basket-over-skills and chewing-clean-clothes-skills.

I also like to help with kitchen floor inspection. I help mom know when it's time to vacuum. Which is basically everyday. Not that she listens to me.

Fridge

Even though books are still my very favorite, I love playing toys too. I have billions of fun toys but sometimes I like to remember my childhood and play baby toys with Lulu.

Even though our house looks like a toy store exploded, sometimes mom has a weak moment. And it's awesome.

Today's weak moment netted a talking fridge for me and Lu!

We love it! Lulu and I were all, "Thanks mom, we love new fancy toys!" and mom was all, "Don't thank me, thank Craigslist!" I'm not familiar with Craig but I might be willing to make an exception to my men-policy (I'm against them) if it means new toys.

We love playing fridge together and mom loves finding great deals. Win.

Peas

My eating skills had a rocky start. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE eating. But oatmeal tasted delicious when I ate it and kind of disgusting when I puked it up all over my crib. Every time.

Thankfully fruits and veggies don't upset my belly and they taste great. I don't even care that I'm not allowed to have grains for now.

Mostly mom liquefies my meals.

But the other night Juj was eating some veggies and I was all, "I'd like to munch some peas too!" and mom was all, "Sure Stu, just try not to choke."

It's hard to choke when you can hardly get the damn things picked up in the first place.

I tried and tried and tried.

I managed to get one or two into my mouth. I'll call that a win.

But mostly I managed to mash them around my tray.

(Grandma K. - can you believe how much I look like my mom in this picture????)

I think I may stick with the mushy spoon foods for a while. It's a lot less aggravating.

Though it's possible it my tray were covered in chocolate cake my self-feeding-skills would be greatly improved. Just a guess.

Grass

Dude. Grass is itchy.

Generous

Sometimes, if I'm feeling generous, I smile AND look at the camera simultaneously. But usually I wait until mom offers a cookie or a pony for such actions. No sense in giving out freebies.
