Toasty Day

Can you believe it was just a couple weeks ago that I was playing outside in my summer clothes?!  Now when I take Sissy outside in the morning I have to wear a hat and a toasty cozy coat.  On a chilly morning, it's good to have a flashback to a warm sunny day...

I don't know why we can't have toasty warm October all month long!

A photo shoot with Sissy only works if mom throws Cheerios at us in between shots.

I love beautiful fall days!

Vikings

There's a big football game today, Peeps!

It's been a tough year to be a fan of Minnesota sports, but I'm a pretty loyal Peep, so I'll keep cheering even if my favorite teams keep playing like a bunch of pansies.

It gets a little complicated today though.  Mom is all, "Sorry Juj, we have to cheer for Aaron Rodgers, he's our quarterback for fantasy football," and I'm all, "But then people will call me a cheese-head-peep!"

So we decided to compromise - I'll dress the part of a Vikings fan...

... but in front of mom, I'll be all, "Yay Cheese!"

Accordingly, here are my predictions for today's game.  I did some research before I came up with my numbers.

And when my predictions come true, I'll be off to Vegas to play on the strip.
I'll be going by 'copter, of course.

Peek

Hi Peeps!
Today my friend Nancy took my picture because I'm about to turn eighteen!

You're probably anxious to die of cute, but you'll have to keep waiting.  I'm not eighteen yet, you know.  So just a sneak peek for now!

If you want to see more, you'll have to speak with my agent.

Preview

Today mom was all, "Juj, it's such a beautiful day!  Let's have a Halloween photo shoot in case the real Halloween is freezing!"  And I was all, "Will there be candy?!"  Dry, plain Cheerios do not count as candy.  Lame.

I kept telling mom I was a duck (I thought quacking made it obvious) but she still insisted on making lame chicken-peep road-crossing jokes.

I wasn't trying to get to any sides.  I was trying to visit some other ducks and look for 'copters.

No 'copters today.  Lame.

While still keeping an eye and a beak out for 'copters, I practiced my ducky waddle instead.

I'm pretty sure ducks like to relax on cement steps when they're not swimming and waddling.

I'm not positive, but I have reason to believe I'm the cutest ducky-peep ever.

Just for fun, I tried out my bee-peep costume too (with matching bee bink of course).

Bees love plastic bags, you know.  It's probably their second favorite thing besides honey.

Even though I make a pretty great bee-peep, my buzzing skills are not as refined as my quacking skills, so I think I'm going to stick with my ducky costume for Halloween.  Plus it's super toasty cozy in case it's eleventy thousand below zero when I'm out trick-or-treating.

Before we went inside, mom was all, "Let's get another picture like last year!"  and Sissy and I were all, "That sounds mega lame!"  You might think we cooperated but don't worry, I had the last laugh.  I'm totally holding mom's phone watching Elmo on Youtube in this picture.  Peep-bribing win.

Milk

Sometimes after I snooze I need a little bonus milk.  But don't worry, I'm not laying here watching Super Why or anything.

Park Play

A couple days ago my friend Lena called and was all, "Hey Juj, how about we skip our naps today and go to the park instead!?!" and I was all, "That is the best idea ever!"

It was a little chilly outside but not too chilly to ride the grasshopper together!

I worked on my swinging skills, too.  I like the big swing the best.  It's more relaxing for a toddler-peep.

I did some climbing skills.  My climbing skills are pretty awesome.

Park visits aren't complete without stick skills.

Lena and I tried to do some sliding skills together but it was a medium fail since I prefer to slide on my belly and mom is all, "When you slide on your belly, the pictures are pretty lame."

I had a really fun time at the park with Lena.  We should probably skip naps together more often!
