Reading

It's not nice to spy on people when they're trying to read in peace.

Swim Team

It's been super mega sweaty here lately.  Too hot to take walks, play with my red car,or even practice my playground skills.  The only thing we can do outside is swim.  So today I invited some friends to my pool for a swim date.

Of course, one of the best parts of swimming is having a snack break!  I'm usually hungry and ready for my snacks about three minutes after we arrive.

Do you know what's not cool?  Friends that think they can be all sneaky and steal snacks!

Aside from Edward's inability to resist my Cheerios, we had a pretty awesome swim date.

Of course, mom had to be all lame and embarrassing at the end with her camera.  She swears I'll thank her someday.  We'll see.

Thankfully my friends are use to it - I've know Edward, Lena and Bella since we were all in our moms' bellies at prenatal yoga.  So we've pretty much grown up together in front of my mom's ever-present camera.

And despite the heat we had so much fun swimming - the pool was filled with floaties and toys!  It was like a giant, awesome bathtub!

I can't wait to have another swim date with my friends!  But next time I'm hiding my snacks.

Baby Clothes

Remember one year ago when I was a baby peeplet about to turn three months old?

I was pretty chubby and cute last July 20th.

This is me today on July 20th.  Can you believe I'm wearing the same outfit?  This morning mom was all, "I think you should wear this dress because you wore it one year ago today."  And I was all, "Umm, it's a 3-6 month size.  Are you nuts?"

Turns out, I guess the dress fit me okay last year AND this year.

Personally, I would rather accent my fluffy curls with clothes that aren't for babies.  But mom says if the dress fits, wear it.  Sometimes she says mega lame stuff.

I guess the real question is...

... will mom make me wear this again next July 20th?  Yep, she probably will.  I better not get married on July 20th or she might make me wear this under my wedding dress.  Double lame.

Though I have to admit, I make baby clothes look pretty cute, even if I am a grown up toddler-peep.

Kitchen

It's a billion degrees here today.  That's too hot for blogging.  So today I'll just share pictures of my exceptional cuteness.  Maybe my chatters will return tomorrow.

Creeplets

I had an awesome playdate today with my Creeplet friends!

We're all pretty old now - there's me, Teaghan, Susie and Nora.  The middle friends are about to turn one and Nora is sixteen months.

Last September we all played together when Nora came to visit from New York.  She even brought us awesome shirts!  Here we are in the same order ten months ago!

See, we're pretty grown up now!

I wasn't so sure about all the group shots...

... and it turns out I wasn't so sure ten months ago either.  I was all red then from trying to tell mom to get me the hell off the chair.

I did a little better this time cooperating with picture time.

I had a little trouble the first time I tried to take pictures with Nora, too.

But we got to be good friends...

... and now I'm just a little suspicious of pictures with her.

When we all first played, I think Susie was a little insecure about being the bittiest, so she wanted to show Nora she was the boss.  So she puked her.

Well, Susie is all grown up now but I guess she wanted Nora to know she's still in charge.

It was a super fun playdate, filled with toys, puffs and a few outtakes.

We were all pretty great babies.  We had to be - our moms said they'd pack us up and ship us to China if we didn't behave.  We were about to call their bluff but we decided we better just be good and sweet.

Hanky Pillow

My friend Kinley got me a Hanky-guy pillow for my birthday.  I pretty much love it!

I love to snorgle my pillow and watch the Wiggles.

And I love to sit on my pillow and read books.  It's my favorite pillow-guy.
